Sierra will start selling tipped MatchKing bullets starting next month. You can pre-order them now from their site.
Looks like it will bump the BC up quite a bit, and both 22 offerings (69 & 77) are loadable to mag-length. Other than that, they have four 30 caliber offerings. http://sierrabullets.wordpress.com/2014/12/18/sierra-bullets-announces-new-tipped-matchking-bullets-for-2015/ |

The black hills loads have been pretty good from what ive seen. Edit: pretty pricey direct from sierra. i have a hard time paying 35-40 cents for a 223 bullet (which is where you are with shipping). |

When the Amax and Hornady BTHP are so much cheaper, and the Berger and Lapua so much better, who cares? My Mk12 mod 0 clone shoots the Black Hills loads very good for a factory load. If I can load them up myself I would probably get even better results. I will try them out. The Berger bullets suck in my gun, have not tried the Lapua bullets yet. My MK loads shoot better than the Hornady bullets. |
