I think I posted in the wrong forum the first time around as I got little responce. Here goes again. Hi to all, I'm new to the board and just wanted to post a pic of my AR. It is a RRA Elite Tactical w/ mid length handguards, wilson brake, Tactical carry handle, RR's entry model stock, and a Tasco PDP3 red dot. I'm saving for a Mini Acog ,but the Tasco is just fine for 100yd shooting and the front sight is fully visible through the Tasco. This rifle is a great shooter, but it needs a Bushmaster to keep it company. Use the link below to view the rifle. Thanks for the welcomes. I_run_with_scissors: The stock is very comfortable. The A2 stock is just a little too long for me. The short stock gives a proper cheek weld and brings my nose to the tip of the charging handle. Accuracy is not affected in any way and I can always switch back to the A2 stock for long range shooting. That short stock is great for CQB and gives that preban look to a post ban rifle. By the way, I am headed back to a Marine unit in about 30 days. This Navy shore duty is for the birds. I miss the discipline of my Marine brothers. USNCORPSMAN |
