Thanks to all the info in the Class III forum I've mostly finished my SBR build. This is my first foray into NFA. I grew up in IL and have moved to IN. Amazing what you can do in a free state. It's pretty much a KISS rifle, will add a single-point sling and some sort of optic down the road. The next step is an AAC M4-2000 =)
Very nice. I'm a strong proponent of the KISS principle when it comes to SBRs –– adding a suppressor has a significant affect on the SBR's functionality, way moreso that spending hundreds or thousands on rails, VFGs, etc.
Enjoy.

Great SBR. RRA rules.
Check out the Spikes buffer w/tungsten powder inside, it'll work wonders...
It did on my RRA SBR

I've got an H-buffer in there now. Haven't gotten to fire it yet. If it runs with the h-buffer, I'll leave it alone.

this makes my happy...
I still have a long wait ahead of me for my stamp to come back.
You and I will have the same rifle though, I plan on adding an Aimpoint M2 or M3 down the road, along with a Gemtech HALO.
But for now one stamp at a time...

My stamp was only about 2 1/2 months door to door. Didn't think that was too bad.
