Where is the best place to get a new barrel for my M1....I have a friend that is a smith and he has done a ton of barrel changes on M1's but he orders his through e-gunparts.com (around $150) does anyone know of a better deal....Sarco has them for $139, has anyone got one of these....Thanks for any help...

LRB arms has wilson chrome lined ones some say are as good as usgi for I think 209.00 you can get a match barrel for around 250.00 sorry thought you ment m14. TRY champion's choice they install it and headspace it.

douglas barrels and krieger also make m1 barrels, and can be ordered from each

If your smith has had good results with Gunpart's barrels then use one of those. You might save a few bucks somewhere else but it might cost you in the long run!
