How do you make sure all the powder is out before switching to a different powder?

In a powder measure, just jiggle the handle and turn the measure up side down with the lid off. Don't worry about a scattered few granules left behind. If they bother you, blow the measure out with compressed air or use a vacuum to remove whatever is left.

I turn mine upside down activate the powder charge bar (I have only Dillon powder measures)
