I received a mini DVR today, installed the battery, and the device would not start.  I held the power switch down for a few seconds and verified the switch position on the left was down. I then threw it on the battery charger for a few hours and still it won't start.  TNVC any advice?  The manual says not to overcharge the battery, but it doesn't say how long to charge the battery, and the battery charger appears to only have a power LED and no charged indicator.  Furthermore is the USB cable a secondary charging cable from a USB port, or is it just for video transfer?

My guess the battery that controls the remote may be bad as well? Did you try the remote just to check that too?   Not sure but give us an email sales at nightgoggles dot com or sales at tnvc dot com and we can send a label to take a peek.   Thanks FistPeso.

USB does not charge the unit.

Thanks Vic, the remote works (LED lights up), but it doesn't power up the unit when I press the button.  Also, how long is the battery supposed to be charged for when it's dead?
