Does anyone know if a Glock site tool would work to install night sights on a M&P9c?  And how different would the
Front sight install process be from a Glock?  Meaning are the tools and steps the same, I know  a Glock armorer who
said he could install them for me if his Glock tools would work, he just hasn't worked on M&Ps before.  Thanks for any
assistance.

A Glock tool won't work at all.

The Glock sight is attached with a small screw-like bolt from inside the slide.
The M&P is a standard dovetailed sight that slides out.

You can drive the sights out with a drift, but there's a risk of damaging the night sights.  For this reason, most people who do night sight installation use a professional sight pusher jig.
Unfortunately, these tools are expensive, especially for a one-time job.

You could buy a tool and once you've installed your sights, sell the tool on Ebay or on the sales site here.
Prices start around $100.

Brownell's sell all the good types:

You can try the brass or hard nylon drift and hammer, but if you damage the night sights, you're out the money.
