I have some once fired LC-11 5.56 brass that was shot out of my AR
I plan to reload and shoot this out of the same AR Do I need to full length case resize this brass? Or can I just neck size them? Thanks |

You have to full length resize. The chambers on an AR are not near as tight as a bolt gun so that they feed reliably. You'll need to bump the shoulders back .002-.003.
Also remember that you'll have to remove the primer crimp on all mil brass before you can re-prime them. |

Agreed. Any brand FL sizer should work fine for you.
We had a thread on full length vs. small base a few weeks ago, that got some heat generated. While you do need a full length sizer die I am in the camp that you do not need a small base sizer die for the AR UNLESS you have a problem. The SB dies sizes the brass to the smallest acceptable dimensions for the caliber. For many rifles it's an excessive working of the brass. |
