Things are slow at work, so I'm taking a vacation day and heading to Camp Perry. Only have enough $$ for a Danish return, but I might get lucky and find a keeper. Also planning on stopping by Mid-County Firearms and checking out their shop. They're near Camp Perry and have a good supply of Garand parts, I've bought from them at OGCA shows in the past. Anybody have anything they want me to keep an eye out for and report back about? |

From what I could tell the North Store got a shipment of field grade Greek returns in yesterday. There were quite a few shooters on the racks today. I ended up getting a rack grade SA with a new NM oprod and an excellent condition postwar SA A15 heat lot bolt. I figure those 2 parts were worth $250-$275 alone. Now to find somebody that wants a plinker with 5 te and 5 mw. They've got a decent selection of Garand and carbine parts at Mid-County. Prices aren't too bad, I picked up a front handguard spacer, ferrule and rear handguard clip for $7.50. Got to root through the parts box and pick out nice ones.
