...and no, it's not too early...because I just got one in the mail today!! Super excited as it's my first stamp, with 8 more (3 paper, 5 EForms in Pending status, and two more that just had F3s faxed in this week)

| I have two Form 1's out, with the checks cashed on 11/13/13. Haven't called to get a pending date yet, but I would assume end of November, beginning on December. I think I'm going to just resist the urge and wait to see when they get back. Will be the first stamps I've ever gotten without calling a number of times to check the status. |

Don't want to burst your bubble, but I'd guess you're closer to late Dec or early Jan. Check the two Form 1s I posted in the OP. Cashed 8/27->Pending 11/9 & Cashed 9/12->Pending 11/4. The other examples above your post are 10/18->11/27 and 9/10->11/6. |

I don't remember that trend on my other stamps. I'm not in a hurry anyway. Already have an SBR and don't have the funds allocated to finishing these two that are pending. I figured I'd get the forms submitted so that by the time I get around to finishing them, I'll already have the stamps in hand. |

Decided to call and get the examiner assigned to the other three I have with November Pending dates. I have the same examiner (Whittington) assigned to my two cans/F4s with 11/27 dates that approved my 11/9 F1 on 4/22. I don't know if F1s and F4s are handled at the same time by examiners or if they alternate days/weeks of doing each one.
What it really means is I'll be eagerly checking the mailbox waiting for the call/email from local dealer over the next couple weeks. They do still show Pending, so they're not in route...but the Pending dates are only 18 days after the first one that was approved. The bad news is my other F1 is assigned to Cook, and his most recent approvals are from early to mid Sep. At that rate, the two EForms I have with 12/24 Pending dates may get done first since I've seen some 11/27-29 approvals this week!! In theory, I could end up getting 9 stamps back in a 6 weeks span if the trends continue.

Called the NFA branch this morning and asked for a status and they said September 
Pretty sure they're just giving everyone a standard turnaround estimate of 10 months from the pending date. Nfatracker.com says I should be seeing a stamp sometime in the next couple weeks. Guess we'll see.. |

They're just sticking to their 9-10 month estimates. |

Don't forget that the time from a form being sent/received/check cashed to when it goes pending may be particularly varied and nonsensical for November pending dates due the 16 day government shutdown in the first half of October. I've seen people w/ forms submitted WAAAY after mine but with nearly identical, even earlier, pending dates than me and can only think it had something to do with the shutdown. Additionally, there are people that submitted on the same day as me that somehow went pending on the early side of the shutdown.. Shit really grinds my gears (not small deviations in first-in-first-out, im talking about the month + deviations... lucky little fuckers). |

Course it'd be !@#$ing sweet to go check the mail soon an BAM! an approved form is there  I'd definitely call just to make sure. Once, just to make sure it's Pending (so at least 2 months after check cashed) is just enough to make you sleep better. With your dates, I'd guess you're more likely a December Pending date. |

Since there is no Dec pending thread, I thought I'd give you uys some hope.
YHM silencer Purchase 12/4/13 Efile submitted 12/4/13 Pending 12/4/13 Approved ? At dealer 15/3/14 I've received three silencers and 1 SBR in the past 10 days, so they are cranking them out. |

Called and got all of my pending dates today, unfortunately none of them have been approved yet. It's a blessing and a curse to be so close, could be tomorrow or it might be 2 more months. This is definitely the hardest part of the waiting, time is crawling by.
