Federal law (BATFE regs) measure from the buttplate, when the stock is in shooting position, to the muzzle of the barrel, or to the furthermost end of anything welded to the barrel. So unless you have welded the FF rail/tube to the barrel itself, measure to the end of the barrel. Note that some states measure differently for Title 1 firearms (fer instance, with the stock folded). |
