I'm building 5" 9mm, intended for a supressor.  The handguard will extend past the end of the muzzle without the suppressor attached.  Is the OAL length then meassured to the end of the barrel or the handgaurd?  I would probably assume it's to the barrel.

Also anyone have any idea as to the OAL of a 5" barrel with a standard milspec collapsable stock extended would be?

Overall length if for the whole firearm, so if the handguard sticks out further than the barrel, measure to the end of the handguard.

OAL is always measured with the stock fully extended.
