Just had a thought...

Don't all the variables of using a washer and/or shims, and even then the specific type of washer and number of shims, effect the location of the suppressor mounting threads?  Assuming the collar shelf is in the correct position, using a crush washer to install the brake will put the suppressor threads quite a bit further forward than using just shims.  Knowing that exposing the threads, either the internal suppressor threads or the external brake threads, to the blast can allow carbon build-up, what is any given OPS Inc suppressor set-up for internally?

as long as the brake threads dont enter the blast chamber(I.E. installing a 15th model on a rilfe set up for a 12th), it isnt an issue.
