[ARCHIVED THREAD] - OTV lower back protector

Does anyone know if the IOTV low back protector will fit the older OTV? I know that the older OTV doesnt have the two attachment points on the back, inside of the vest(like in the front for the groin protector) but it seems as though you could attach it the PALS on the outside. Has anyone tried this? If so how is the fitment, does it work? Is it comfortable? Or is there a better option to lower back/kidney protection?

Ditch it, like all the other add on upgrades - you are just adding extra weight to an already heavy armor system. just my thoughts.........
