A website that covers movie and tv firearms.  Hurt my back a week ago and have been watching bunches of movies while trying to recuperate.  I can spot a lot of the guns being used.  The covered up AKs in a "League of Extraordinary Gentlemen" is an example.  Yes, I know that that was an FNC in "Heat".  I think it would be interesting to go beyond just identification, though.  More info from an armorers perspective.  The blending of live action and special effects is getting more sophisticated all the time.  I'd like to know more of the behind the scenes details.  Some historical background of firearms used in the older movies would be appreciated, too.  Who thought up that lever loop on Chuck Connor's rifle on the TV show "The Rifleman"?  Stuff like that, is what would be interesting to me.  And let's not limit it to just small arms.  Tanks, planes or battleships; it's all good.  What do you all think?

One of the benefits of living in the country is no cable.  Maybe I can get someone to tape it for me.  Thanks for the info.  Over the years I've caught little bits of the behind-the-scenes stuff.  It would be nice to have a centralized bank of info relating to arms used in films and tv.
