| I just broke down my octane45 and cleaned it with a stainless pin tumbler. My question is should I put anything on baffles other then just wiping down with clp? Thanks |

I haven't tried it yet, but some people are heating the suppressor parts and treating them with silicon oil. It's supposed to help with clean up. I just pulled my baffles out of the DOT5 Silicone Oil bath. Letting them 'dry' overnight then will assemble with my 3d printed assembly tool tomorrow! The stainless pin tumbling is good for caked on crud, but check out the recent posts about Silicone Oil or DOT5 Brake Oil treatments. |
