All of my folders are Kershaws but this is my first non-assisted opening blade by them. I like it so much I already ordered a second one online. |

I have M21s and M16s and they're both solid. I found them too big for EDC pocket carry, but you might be able to get away with it depending on where you put it. |

I was worried about that at first, as it is easily an entire inch longer than my old knife, but so far I havent noticed the size difference while carrying it in my pocket. This thing is very solid. I will probably end up owning a couple more eventually. |

I was worried about that at first, as it is easily an entire inch longer than my old knife, but so far I havent noticed the size difference while carrying it in my pocket. This thing is very solid. I will probably end up owning a couple more eventually. It wasn't so much the length for me, but rather the width including the flippers... I found myself catching the flippers on my watch and stuff as I'd reach in to my pocket for keys, change, etc. Not saying it's a bad choice for EDC, but it just didn't work for me that way. I EDC a CRKT Mini My Tighe now, which is about half the size, but I always have the M21 on my PC and the M16 on my day pack. I used to carry Gerber folders every day but since I tried the CRKTs I haven't looked back. Very sharp and strong knives with perfect blade profiles, in my opinion. I don't like to carry anything more expensive for fear of losing it anyways... been there, done that. CRKTs seem to be the perfect happy medium for me in terms of price and quality. |
