| I shot my husband's rifle for the first time this weekend and had a blast. Now he wants to get me one, too. I think it's a clever ploy for him to get have yet another gun to pet. Thoughts? |

Everyone should have there own "gun". Look at it this way if you scratch it he won't be as pissed... Seriously though, if you really enjoyed it and think you could or would be willing to learn the ins and outs of the rifle as far as cleaning it etc. I would recommend getting your own. Just make sure you get one that's better than his. John |

Heck no. He just wants you to have a rifle of your own so that you are comfortable with it and so you can learn the pride of gun ownership and set it up anyway you want. That way you will enjoy the sport more and be more willing to go with him shooting and share this important part of his life with him. Seriously, it helps to find a gun that fits you and feels comfortable and that you like shooting and will have pride in owning and using. You can also learn your way around the gun, cleaning etc without his having any reason to criticize you. |
And AR15 rifles can be accessorized with matching scopes, flashlights, mags and even a matching black range bag!! Sgtar15 PS BTW, my wife is a better shoot than me. She also thinks Russian Mosin-Nagant M44 doesn't kick much....it kicks my butt!!! |
