There was an old country gun shop that closed and the estate recently auctioned off.  An incredible amount of stuff was sold - wish I had more money.    Things were being sold in box lots, so sometimes the buyer was not sure what he was bidding on.  I found these two boxes in one box lot.



Not sure when these date from, but I would guess the 1920's.  If anybody knows more, please post it.  The reference to "metal patched" means they came from an era where bullets were more likely paper patched or plain lead.























I enjoy these type of items from a bygone era.  Hope some of you guys enjoy them as well.

Cool. Probably be a nice .30 Carbine HD round to have in the mags.
