I'm buying one last suppressor to use on a 300 BO and bolt gun use.  I currently have Sparrow, Element 2, Octane 45HD, Surefire SOCOM 556 RC, Ops Model 12, and Saker 7.62.  This will likely be my last purchase as I have the ability to run everything I have suppressed now and think all the ones I have are high quality.

I'm doing a 300BO yet and may run some of my preciison rifles suppressed sometimes as well.  Is the Omega everything ppl thought it was when it was first mentioned?

I can't make my mind up between a Specwar 762 or the omega for 300 BO, 5.56 SBR use.  I know the Specwar is longer and heavier, but is it really a lot more quiet than the omega as recent tests have shown on 300 BO?

I can't make up my mind, so just seeing what others would purchase for one last addition to the collection :)  I'll probably go Omega for versatility and doubt my ears can tell the difference between 3-4 Db.

Your last!  hehehe, yeah sure!

I really like my Specwar 762, but it is heavier.  No experience with the Omega, but from looking at it, I wouldn't mind one myself.

Don't leave out the Saker, sure it's a few bucks but can be had with the ASR mount and then all 3 cans could use all the muzzle attachments.

Weight wise its bare none a huge difference.  This past weekend I held the Saker 556 and Omega and it was a noticeable difference between the two.  The Omega even had the asr mount and brake.  To me its all about the weight.  I have a Saker 762 and have an Omega in jail.

So the Omega sounded better than the saker on the 556 rifle?  I have the Saker 762 as well and am probably leaning omega for the last purchase too.

Held not heard sorry.  Get the Omega its worth it.  And yes I've heard it and it does sound different.  But on 556 its still loud.  556 is just loud.  No way to quiet it down imo.
