Can you put in the caliber section on form 1 Multi if you have a lower that is marked Multi or do they want you to commit? Thanks

I think you need to put the caliber .223 5.56 or whatever it is going to be
I just sent one on last month my lower is marked multi but I put 5.56mm

Multi!! I am a  C2mfg  and have done this MANY times with no problem. If the receiver is marked 9mm, 5.56, .223, .22, .357..... It doesn't matter!!! Remember, when you form 1 the thing, YOU!! are the manufacturer!! YOU designate the caliber, save yourself and fill in the BBL length as N/A as well.  I do all of my receivers (regardless of mfg, make, model, caliber, etc...) as CALIBER: N/A and BBL Length: N/A
Save yourself the pains of feeling "stuck" with a caliber or length and use my advice.
It works!!

Actually, alot of people are getting their Form 1's kicked back for specification due to this.  Not all inspectors are allowing "multi", "n/a", or ranges listed

Edit: I'd go so far to say that MOST inspectors arent allowing this anymore

Just write down a number.  After that, it really doesn't matter.....

I wrote:  9mm or .355 on one form and on the other I wrote 5.56mm or .223.  I don't think I was precise on bbl length either.
