Sent in two forms for two suppressors in the same envelope. Two separate checks. Per my dealer (who seems to be high volume class 3 seller) they said I only needed to include one set of finger print cards.
The week after I sent in the packet I see one check has cleared my bank but not the other. I'm thinking the ATF thinks its either a single suppressor or they don't like I only sent one set of fingerprint cards. Haven't called them yet but its been 6 days since the first check cleared. Anyone have insight into what the situation may be? |
| Two checks where one cashed and the other didn't is different than what happened to one of mine, but I had a check that wasn't cashed after 5 months and I called the ATF to check whether or not they received it, which they said they did and that the payment cleared. I later found out that it went through as a debit on my account and the check never showed up as cleared through my bank. Thought that was a bit odd, but I verified it to be what happened and got my stamp a couple weeks later, so whatever. |

| I tried calling them today since its been two weeks with no activity. The guy who answered the phone wouldn't help me. Just kept repeating something about them currently work on june forms which wasn't helpful. I'll try tomorrow. Maybe I'll speak with someone who understands my question better. |
