Will an Ops inc 12th can mount and collar fit on a 12.5 inch barreled gun with a carbine gas system and a standard front sight base?

I know that Ops makes the 15th model for short barrels, but i'm interested in how the 12th model would work in this role.

I think the 12th only goes over 2" of barrel so with a short enough gas block it should be fine.

Actually any gas block should be fine.

Not sure, Bigbore will know for sure. If you are looking to get the near same suppression level of the 12th model you should look at the 16th model as the collar doesn't sit back as far as the one for the 12th.

To use a 12th model, you will need about 2.65" of unrestricted barrel behind the actual end of the barrel. With a 15th or 16th model, you will need about 2.25". That is with custom fittings with bare minimum behind suppressor.
