Attached File I used sone Burris Signature Zee 30mm rings I had sitting in my parts bin to mount this Burris MTAC. I will eventually replace them with Warne rings, as I really don’t like the Zee rings. |

I just put on this combination of Leupold parts on my American. Just read the instructions on the correct way to mount the base. kwg Leupold base Rings  closest open gas station to me

This set I found in the parts bin are 1” high. I’m looking at multiple brand rings at .875 down to .82. With the riser at the highest notch my cheekbone still doesn’t sit all the way down on the stock. That extra 1/8” should do the trick. Maybe I’ll get lucky and someone will post some Larue 719’s on the EE real soon.

I got the Reaper 2 medium height at Amazon. They were about $30 cheaper shipped than on the DNZ website. I picked the Reaper 2 since DNZ uses 6061 aluminum rather than 7075 I wanted four screws per ring rather than 2.   Failed To Load Product Data |

I tried the cantilever route with the Magpul stock and what I think is the .75 riser it just didn't work. I couldn't get a good cheekweld. I tried the rings sold with the used gun. They were too low.
