I was wondering if anyone had ever tried one of these IJK scopes.
http://theopticsplace.com/products/2003RAO9004.html I hope this thread is ok to post in the 50 cal forum because im looking to put it on an m82a1. Eventually i will be putting a nightforce on it but money is tight and im just looking at this or the SWFA to begin with. Thanks, Dan |

With the less exspensive scopes out there, the ones that seem to fail the most are the variable power ones. If they have a good waranty and promise to fix after claiming OK for a 50 then try one and see. It may be another choice for people saving up for a Night Force.

Yeah, it's the several G's of force from the recoil along with several G's of negative force from the brake that #@#^%$#@ up the scope. I saw a BSA 4-12 last only 4 rounds on a BMG. Ed That mirrors my own experience. I was in a scope swapping phase and had nothing for my fifty at the time. It was only a few rounds before shots got erratic. I grabbed the end bell and it was flopping around. I still have a BSA scope, on a pneumatic air pistol. |
