I ordered some bullets from Lehigh Bullets. My order was processed very quickly, and was mailed the next day. With the xmas crush, the USPS was a bit slow to deliver. My order arrived here today. The order was wrapped in foam, inside a cardboard box full of peanuts. I expected the bullets to be packed like most everyone else does, loose in a small box. Instead, I found the bullets packed in a J&J 5H-50 cartridge box, with foam packed inside the lid. The box was taped to prevent it from opening, but not so much that it was difficult to unwrap. Bullets measured .416 exactly, and the bullet design seems to be well thought out from the practical standpoint.
As you can see from the last photo, instead of a normal cannelure groove, the cannelure is cut at an angle, to allow the case to taper in evenly and hold the bullet firmly. The two bearing surfaces in the rear measure .416" from front to back, allowing the bullet plenty of support inside the case mouth. There is a second groove in the middle to help reduce friction.
Overall, I was impressed with my order how well packed they were.

That's a beautiful bullet packaged in a high quality manner.
Hope you got a fair price for them.

Considering the product and the capital investment to produce them, the time it took the guy to box it and ship it, and the way it was shipped? I'd say it's fair.

Would love to see a pic of the loaded round.

Nice!
I have been procrastinating over some or their .458 offerings in both brass and aluminum, nice to know they take such pride in their product.
