I asked this in Spike's Tactical forum but didn't get a response so hopefully someone here will know the answer.  If I buy one of these dedicated .22LR uppers from like Spike's, KKF, etc...can I just remove the A2 flash hider and screw on my Outback II silencer?

You might need a spacer for the threads on the AR15.  The outback needs a thread length of 0.40 - 0.43 anything longer might damage the first baffle. The typical threads on an ar are like 0.63

Somewhere (in this forum I think) John from SilencerResearch.com is selling AR spacers that he fabricated.
