I have been having an issue with my P22 with AAC Prodigy keyholing. I read that there were issues with the Gen2 Core and sent it off to AAC and got the replacement Gen3 Core. Took it out last night and am still getting keyholing on the first round. I tried it on my friends P22 and no issue. So I know It could be the thread adapter the barrel or the Barrel Sleeve. The Thread adapter is from TI. Where to start?

Does it keyhole without the can on?

Do you keep the thread adapter on when not shooting the can?

It only keyholes on the first shot you said?

Put your friends thread adapter on your gun. If it keyholes get a new gun.

I keep the adapter on all the time. It Keyholed before I got the core swapped every time I shot it. I did not want to mess up the new core this time on my gun. I am going to try swapping my friends adapter next. If its not that It will most likely be cheaper to buy a new gun than replace anything.

Does it keyhole with every type & brand of cartridge, or just one?  Are there any visible signs of baffle or end plate strikes?
