So its the same song and dance. First foray into the NFA weapons, and I must say I am quite happy with what I got. P22 is eating Remington subsonic nicely, and my ears are thanking me I would post pics, but if one image is worth 1000 words, a short video should take the cake! Me shooting |

It is 100% entertaining, and that's what I was shooting for. As for another host, I'm considering a Savage bolt action for hunting as well as paper punching. And without question THE most reliable .22lr I've ever shot. I can't remember ever having a malfunction with it. Every other .22lr semi I've shot, whether pistol or rifle has had some problems every now and then. A Savage bolt gun is a great idea for a host. I'm considering a lever, maybe a Ruger 96/22 for mine. Is it legal to hunt suppressed in WV? It isn't in AZ. |

Might just be me, but you seemed to be walking around alot with a loaded gun pointed at your foot?? I feel safer with it pointed at the ground than anywhere else, plus, would have been a boring video if I just shot the cardboard on the ground :-D I didn't mean any disrespect. Sometimes we pick up bad habits that we are unconscious of and objective observers bring them to our attention out of respect for the sport of shooting. Just saying that maybe we could of held off chambering that first round until we were ready to point the gun downrange instead of walking from the target back to our shooting position. Or maybe I just missed the part about using the safety when we went downrange to set the target back up. Again, no disrespect meant. |
