I found a place selling p38 with natzi marking and all matching numbers intact.  They are asking $850 with one magazine they say they are some of the best they have ever seen.
This is from the ad "P38 Pistols are all original, matching numbers, all markings intact, and were imported by us directly from a private collector in Germany. "

Is this a good price should I buy one?

dipped.. they look RC

Don't go by the X alone.. not all were marked X by Russian refurbishment.

What gives it away is the appearance of the finish, and the lack of F/S coloring

Compare that to the actual beautiful blue of an orginal: Same Year / Manufacture

Re-read - i was still working on my post. RC = Russian Capture.

Basically 875 is WAY to high for a RC.. should be 600-650 at the HIGHEst.

IF you want to spend the $$ on quality look at legacy collectibles..

they also have alot of Spreeworks for less than that RC you posted above.

Cheers,
