How do the older AN PAS 23 thermal monocular a measure up to newer offerings? I have a tan one available locally with only the monocular and bag, no accessories. Fair deal at 4k? What were the specs on these things? Head mountable?

I have one, it's a bomb proof unit but at that price I'd just go buy an IR Patrol LE100 for the extra $1k

I agree with this. At 3300-3500, you would have a buy out of me, not higher.
