I would get factory mags or mecgar at cdnn. I have a pc9 with the ghost ring rear site. Very reliable. Seems you got a good deal on yours.

Congrats on your purchase.  I have a PC4.  I just picked up mags from www.gunclips.net    they had the cheapest 40 cal mags that I could find.  Good luck and enjoy.

Exactly what I would of posted. I've had bad luck with every mag except factory and MecGars.

This.  I wouldn't piss around with anything else.
Mine has been entirely reliable with 20 rd MecGars, and likewise with a bunch of used Ruger 15's that I found during the ban.  I'd still like a little finer peep, but it shoots straight and always goes bang.  Enjoy!

I must be lucky.   I bought three $17 no-name magazines at a gun show.   Two 20 rounders and a 30 rounder.   All have been 100%

How much longer are the 20 rounders than the 15 rounders ? Are the 20s unwieldy ???  Thanks

Don't have a pic to compare the two, but thats a MecGar 20rder in my PC9. (come to think of it, that's a MecGar Beretta mag in my KelTec also)

I've only had good luck with MecGars, in fact they've proven to be more reliable than the factory mags.

So you would trust your life to Mec-Gar mags or Ruger factory mags ???
Any advantages to nickel plated mags ???
Thanks

Has anyone tried the ProMag 32 rounders?  I have never fired a PC9 with them, but they do lock in the magwell and the bolt closes fine over them.

Slightly off topic, but does anybody know if someone is still doing Glock mag conversions? I know years ago that there were a couple outfits converting PC9's to use Glock mags, but now that I have a PC9, I can't find anyone still doing the conversion.

I wouldn't say I've done extensive testing with one, but the few times I've used mine, it worked fine.
