| Took the PK out to the range today. Balmy 40 Deg weather. 200 rounds of Walmart Federal bulk ammo. I had 3 misfires, 3 FTE, and 2 FTF. All separate from each other. I was hoping for less trouble. But had a lot of fun regardless. Gun was fresh out the box. Should I be happy with this or will it get worse over time? Also is there a way to improve/strengthen the FCG?. It sure feels like a weak strike on the primer. |

My range report for today:
Maybe 40 degrees out, light breeze. Ran about 200-300 rounds of WalMarts best Federal Bulk (the $13 stuff) down the tube. ZERO issues. No FTF, nothing. 100% functioning of the gun. Haven't seen too many .22 rifles do this lately. We accept misfires and such and blame the ammo but this batch runs perfect. Checked cases. Good impacts on the primer. Good ejections. Heck, its fun watching those cases come flying out of the gun. A few people stopped by and commented on how cool the little GSG was. They enjoyed watching it eat through some old bowling pins. Amazing what twenty-two .22s can do when they impact that pin in just seconds. I still think its overpriced and under-built, but the thing works perfectly and is just plain a hoot to shoot. Man, do I need a mag loader for this or what! |
| Aside from the malfunctions, how was the accuracy of the PK? I just picked one up last week and have yet to get her out the range. What distance were you shooting these pins at? What's the maximum range you feel you could consistently hit a bowling pin at with the weapon? |
