I’m sure this has been answered here but have a question on receiver screws. It sounds like the canted screws on the SCARs receiver are a non-issue or they come that way? It’s a NOS Belgian, i’m not worried about the functionality of the gun nor do I care about it aesthetically but it is something I noticed … just wondering if it’s something I should purchase to have on standby or would you even bother changing them out? Any experience changing them other than the instructions as far as heating before removing them or am I just wasting my time? |

From my experience it is the barrel screws (for removing the barrel) that can wear or cause issues in terms of removal. I have yet to cause my rear receiver to destroy or shake lose the other screws on the rifle. |

| If you plan on running the scar suppressed at all, I would recommend replacing the rear screws and replacing the gas jet. As far as the rear screws walking out, mine were very tight, heat was needed and the hex got mushed on a couple. So definitely have replacement screws on hand. I used mototechs which use torx heads so you can get a little more torque |
