Hi,

I originally bought a PS90 from CDNN when they first came out, but money problems caused me to sell it to a friend 6 months later with the condition that I get first dibs if he should ever decide to part with it.  That day has come.  My PS90 will be back home tomorrow.

I have been reading here of the visibility problems with the original white optic, which this one has, and was wondering if it is possible to mount a Millett DMS-1 I have lying around.

Can someone help me with this?  Can I replace the original optic with the DMS-1 and it still be functional?  What do I need to do?

I have searched but have not been able to find a picture of a PS90 with a similar optic mounted.

Thank you all in advance for your help.

FN sells a mount that replaces the original optic. It is rather short. You can mount a scope with it, just not a lot of room for adjustment.
The mount works best for eotech or dot optics.

I like my original sight. It does "white out" in some lighting conditions. The illuminated night sight makes up for it.

you could also look into purchasing a Rem T3 illuminator for your white ring optic, i have heard they work damn good

The above are good suggestions. I have an original donut of death also. I'd suggest just not doing anything that would permanently alter the PS90. Although loathed now, I think the originals will be real collectors items some day.

I bought the TROS ultra-low Aimpoint mount and I am completely satisfied. I tried all of the rail options and the optic was still way too high for my liking. I believe the ring is 30mm for the Aimpoint so it might work with another optic but I'm not sure.

This. For my petite wife, though, I have an Aimpoint Micro on a std aftermarket rail to keep the weight down. Works great!

Anyone notice that Tomac keeps rubbing in the fact that his wife is petite?

Mine too. I  hate to let her shoot my PS90. Never get it back until it is empty.

I have to or otherwise I can't justify having a PS90 instead of another STG!

Well, the PS90 is back home where it belongs.  I really appreciate all of your responses.  Now it is time to start looking into one of those Rem T3 illuminators you guys suggested.

Thanks again.
