Yes, I know we have an FN forum but it IS a bullpup rifle. Anyway, I'm cross posting this since it's a little busier in here. There was a post in General Discussion with a SBR'd PS90 with can. I already have a 5.56 can and have been on the fence for a long time about the PS90. I think I want one. However, I don't know the differences between the models. Where can they be had for a good price or even what is a good price to begin with? I do know that whatever model I get I will want to put a red dot on it. My most important concern and finally my question is that, can you buy the base model with the craptastic white dot sight and readily take it off and add a rail there for the mounting of previously mentioned red dot sight? If you can do that, where can one aquire a rail? Also, who does work for the bbls? I'm going to want to SBR this thing. Thanks for bearing with me. I appreciate all input. |

Give the factory USG sight a look if you can. Excellent cheek wield good tritium illumination and very durable.
I have one PS with the white sight and 2 with the USG. Yea the white kinda sucks at times. Did a search and found some railed models but they cost more than the ones with the USG optic

My dealer can get me one with the USG sight for 1300. I'll be ripping it off immediately and trading it in for a T-1 or clone thereof |

$1300 would be a very good price. You'd be hard pressed to find one on Gun Broker at that price. Most I see are around $1450 and up. Barrels you can find through CMMG. Magazine Parts is a cool place to check out for accessories. I believe Promoted Pawn also makes some accessory rails for the PS90. |

Hmm, not sure. It says they are down because of a glitch in their system. |
| TROS USA also offers parts and services for the PS90, including SBRing the factory barrel without the need to purchase a new barrel. |

I didn't like the factory dot-sight so got the tri-rail. An Aimpoint Micro is perfect. Got the short barrel from CMMG, no worries about chrome peeling with a cut-down.
After spending as much as the gun + sight + tax stamp cost no reason to scrimp on the barrel cost. FNH should only sell PS90s as SBRs. Really a great gun, even for us non-ninjas. |

I don't like cutting a barrel either for the same reasons. The T1 is nice, because personally I think the USG sight is too busy for me. I like that single red dot. Although something that I think would be real nice would be to try out one of those new RMR's from Trijicon on a PS90. One thing you might want to think about buying that really isn't that expensive, but does make a difference is the extended cocking handle. |
