Is there any way to tell if this is autogated by the #s here? It does emit a faint sort of monotone constant beep when held direct to my ear..., I guess that is a good sign!! But I have no basis of comparison if that qualifies as a "whining" or if it is just what they sound like.....

OMNI VI would be a good guess and that is a Milspec tube yours is autogated OP |
