How many rounds do you have through it yet? I'm interested but would like to know how they hold up to shitloads of shooting, considering that is what I do with my .22's. But would you shoot quite so much if you had to cycle it between every shot?
I thought about building a tip-lock 10/22 bolt/receiver that would function in semi or manual, but other projects have taken priority... |

So you can covert a 10/22 to single shot with this kit? If so how fast/hard is it to switch it back to semi auto? It isn't a kit. This isn't a Ruger 10/22, it's is a bolt action .22 caliber rilfe made my PWS. And it's WAY over priced. http://primaryweapons.com/store/pc/viewPrd.asp?idproduct=376&idcategory=35 |

Still crazy expensive, but everything else is standard 10/22... http://primaryweapons.com/store/pc/viewPrd.asp?idproduct=266&idcategory=26 |

I only have a couple thousand through mine, but it is built like the proverbial brick shithouse. The bolt & toggle mechanism is all there is really. I can't see them ever wearing out. |

From everything I've read, the barrel is a very high quality tensioned barrel and the trigger group is as well. The magazine is Ruger though. |

Do a little searching and you can find it at a better price. I paid $630 shipped for a complete rifle which obviously includes the action, barrel, and trigger group along with the other necessary parts. Pricing those out separately would drive the price upwards of $1K once you add a stock. I felt $630 was reasonable considering what it would cost to build a very nice 10/22 by the time you factor in the type of barrel I wanted, Kidd Trigger, Upgraded Receiver, etc.
As for durability, I don't have a ton of rounds through it but its built extremely well and I really can't see how you could wear one out. Should hold up for a life time. As for 10/22 compatibility, the only thing different is the action housing. It uses 10/22 compatible parts for everything else you would possibly swap out....barrel, trigger, stock, mags. My main purpose for buying it was because of the ability to modify with 10/22 accessories and such while maintaining bolt action quiet shooting suppressed. |
