| I am thinking of buying a pac lite threaded upper for an old Ruger MK1 and eventually sticking a can on it. If anyone has a pac lite I would appreciate any feedback on its performance. Thanks |

I have one, and I would reccommend staying away unless you do something that has a quick disconnect mount, because eventually the threads will get screwed up being aluminum. I don't think it's as accurate as a conventional steel or stainless bull barrel. They look really sharp. That's nice. |
I don't think mine would be.. It shoots about 1.5" from a bench at 15 yards. This is with federal champion brick ammo though. I can do 1.75 at 25 with a Les Baer 1911. My trigger isn't perfect on the MKIII, but it is a volquartsen. I didn't shoot it on paper past 15yards because the 15 yard results were already not impressive. |
