| I noticed today that the front sight of my weapon had a chip in the paint on the outside of the ring on the right side. It's small and not a huge deal, but I'm wondering about options to fix it just the same. Is there a quick (and cheap) fix to this, or is it more trouble than it's worth? |
| Your local auto parts store in the paint section-the small bottles with a brush inside. It may not be an exact match as that flavor is a semi gloss, but may be worth a shot. Also check out paint pens at your local office or art supply store, or perhaps Testors hobby paint. The repair can be carefully (lightly) scuffed with a scotch brite to tone down the gloss if necessary. |

I use Birchwood Casey's Super Black flat touch-up paint for litte nicks.
