| I was thinking about painting my AR in a black & white ghost grass .. Sorry I am a old duck hunter and boat builder and love marsh grass patterns... How do you like painting or do you regret it and would you consider it again?? |
| When I got one of my "grail" guns assembled and looked at it, I couldnt think of painting it. 2 weeks later I was cutting up a corn broom and using bristles as a pattern. Laid down first coat, then second, third, 4th, 5th.... flip and redo.... Look at the rifle now and I would have done it 2 weeks sooner to be honest. I guess it kind of depends on the pattern and the weapon though. |

If you're really fixed on the camo pattern then you could most likely find someone local that hydro dips firearms with any camo you want.
I paint my guns because I don't like solid black and to give it character. I'm thinking about repainting my 308 like a leopard |

If you do Rustoleum or Krylon, if you don't like it you can take it off really easy, and start over. I definitely learned a few things that I will apply next time!!!
