Few questions arose while reading another members post.

I'm currently waiting on a paper F4 on a Osprey 9.

Once approved, does the ATF call or email the individual?

Secondly, does the approved stamp get sent back to the dealer, or individual/ trust holder?

Sorry for the newb questions... Appreciate the help!!

ATF does not notify by email or phone call. Once the form 4 is approved they send it to the dealer and the dealer should call you and notify you the stamp came in.

Understand, thank you.

My dealer seemed to think I would get the stamp back in the mail.. I'll have to get in touch with him regarding that.

I assume everyone posting their F4 approval dates are simply calling in and inquiring??

I wish there was a way to log into my eforms acct and see the status of my paper forms.. How sweet that would be.

Your dealer must be new to this.

All form 4 stamps are sent to the dealer.

You used to be able to call the get a status, but recently they have stopped taking calls for status updates.
