[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Pending....?

Hey all...

I called the ATF yesterday and they told me my paperwork went pending (for my suppressor) on May 6th....

What does it mean when it goes "pending"...?

How long does it usually remain pending before the paperwork gets sent back to my dealer?

It means that it has been entered into the system and is in process (on examiner's desk)

Who knows?
I've been pending since 5/1/09.

I was pending 4 weeks the first one and 3 1/2 weeks for the second. These were on a trust. Seems like there is LITTLE consistancy though.

Today makes 8 weeks "pending" for my form 1. 7 weeks, 5 1/2, and 4 1/2 weeks on three form 4's.

It means someone in data entry managed to enter your form's info into their database and its now sitting in a (very large

) pile on an overworked examiner's desk.
