Anybody have any pics of a 20' 870 Police with the 2 and 3 round extensions.  I am stuck between the Wilson 2 round and the Tac Star 3 rounder.  I think the Wilson would be higher quality than the Tac Star, but the Wilson only goes up to plus 2. I would just like to see how each looks with a 20' barrel.  Thanks.

Sorry, I dont have pics, but I have a Wilson +2 on one of my 870s, and its quality is very adequade. Though, you would likely be fine with either. I cant imagine you could make a mag extension poor enough to not function.

I also don't have a picture, but only the +3 extension will fit flush with a 20" barrel.

If you are really concerned with looks & quality, you can buy the +3 extension directly from Remington. The blued runs $79.30 & the parkerized runs $108.60.

Here's my 18.5" 870 Police with a Wilson +2.  Expect the +3 to add another 2.5 inches or so, making it flush with your 20" barrel.

I put a Tacstar extension on my dad's 870.  It's fine for what he uses it, but I'm hard on my shotguns and I expect them to hold up to to the work.  I personally don't think the Tacstar would be up to the task.  The Wilson unit is better built, feels more solid, has a better spring, gives you a built-in sling attachment  as well as a green follower included in the kit.

Have fun!  Mike

Thanks for the pic.  I have decided to go with the Wilson +2.  I was going to send it in to them anyway to put on Tru-lock sights, so I might as well give them $20 to hack 2 inches off my barrel.  I think it will handle better the shorter it is.

Plus one on the factory remington extension.

I bought a parked 3 shot extension for an 870 off gunbroker for 85 bucks.

Its way higher quality than the tacstar crap I have for my Benelli.

Not a problem, my friend.  I think you'll like the shorter length a lot.  2 inches makes a big difference in my mind and the way the gun handles, especially in the shoot house.

You won't be disappointed with the Wilson stuff!

Enjoy!
