Really, nice-looking set up there, my friend.
Where did you get the base for the 507 C to fit on a pic rail? Thanks |

Used a UTG low RMR pic mount The only thing I had to do was shorten the left side fastener that came with the UTG mount. a few minutes with a Dremel grinder, no big deal. Perfect fit. |

I would like to thank everyone for the helpful links, and information about the 507 Pic Rail Mount.
It is greatly appreciated, gentlemen. |

Now for something completely different, an Ithaca Model 49 Saddle Bag carbine-a single-shot, lever action, with a Martini-style falling block action which is chambered for .22 Short, Long, or Long Rifle...

You originally had a regular 507 or 407 before the 507 Comp. How do you like the 507C? Seems like it would be the better RMR type choice for this application. I like the idea of the bigger window and multiple reticle options. How do you like the height of that mount with this combo? I was looking at the slightly higher mounts but now I’m not sure. |

I've yet to even get out and shoot it, but should work perfect. The window is HUGE. Nice.. As for the UTG mount, that's a perfect union too. Keep it all as low as possible (best for me at least.) Plus they're made like a tank and cheap. Again, perfect. I just mounted up a Leupold VX-Freedom 4-12x40 side focus scope on this one. I like options! I'll certainly keep the 507Comp setup to switch back and forth with. This is my only 10/22 so "balls to the wall" with it. Screw it. If you want to buy a 507Comp, give Midwest Optics a shout. He'll email you a coupon code (I got it for $300.) Fair deal in my mind. |

The bolt isn’t as smooth as my b14r but that can be expected at half the price. This gun fits the role of varmint rig or semi serious plinking perfectly. If you are in need of a gun to shoot groups then the b14r is better suited for that role. |

Thanks. I’m wanting a bolt gun I can suppress for hunting.
