Hello all, if you guys have any pixs of Interceptors body armor, like ones with soldiers wearing them or contractors etc. I'd sure appreciate if you'll post them. Thanks in advance. TG |
Way to kool, thanks for the pixs, here a pix of mine, but I have a hugh recent gear purchases on the way from SDS, was a BD present to myself.![]() 6 of these secure.specialtydefense.com/cgi-bin/sds/4050.html I like these pouches, but they only carry two mags each. Or 4 of these secure.specialtydefense.com/cgi-bin/sds/4070.html these are stackable in conjunction with ones above. 2 of these secure.specialtydefense.com/cgi-bin/sds/4130.html 4 0f these secure.specialtydefense.com/cgi-bin/sds/4010.html 1 of these back packs. secure.specialtydefense.com/cgi-bin/sds/S0001.html One of these carrier. secure.specialtydefense.com/cgi-bin/sds/4250.html 1 PAGST 3 point chin strap. secure.specialtydefense.com/cgi-bin/sds/2035.html Also have a bladder carrier and a thigh molle plat form coming as well, look to placed a molle handgun holster on it. These are the pouches Im looking to use on my Interceptor, also on my new back pack. These be here before thanksgiving. TG |

I do appreciate the pictures posted so far, but could use some more, all the input that comes from these photos helps me & other who may be doing the same thing or considering a Interceptor. I went through four different molle plate carriers, before deciding on a Interceptor, I like the front opening vs side opening. Cause when pouches are loaded, it is hard as hell to fasten side fastex/buckles. Thanks. TG |

Hi eggroll, it looks like a A2 sight under front handguard, probably just stored their since he appear to be using acog. Im, just trying to put together a decent molle vest with some protection, may never have a shtf or natural or unnatural event happen here in the US,but I just like having gear on hand. TG |

so you post this picture on LF asking the same question, and the rifle isnt yours? and yet you dont answer the question of what you are seeking to accomplish --- until you do, dont expect very much guidance and suggestion aside from the customary eye-roll and looks of confusion. that isnt a wellthought out answer, there had to be some sort of decision-suggestion-research chain that you went through to come up with this configuration. But the query for interceptor pics seems to indicate that this was not the case. Why this configuration vice an FLC over some concealable armor, or a bag with some "stuff", rather than a military issue setup up that after configured will be overweight and limit your range of functionality, have you tried this armor vest across a range of exercise and motion, Do you REALLY expect to be a firefight? |

I've tried four other molle carriers that fasten on the side, didnt care much for it, so I wanted to try a carrier that open from the front. I dunno eggroll, Im not a self appointed expert, that why I asked for help, shtf or what ever happens, could be invaders shooting to gain my goods or simply to dish out havac. Hell they might one day come for our guns and I'll choose to fight vs cowering, I like to stay on foot as long as possible. For what it is worth, yes I did serve as a 11B10, If I cant handle the weight, I would go a different route. I just posted a pix, to give myself and others the idea of what Im looking for, dont have to be a kill joy here or at other forums do yeah? That being said I do like gear & happen to buy alot.also trade and give away to those who dont have anything. I owned and operate a minuteman web site, it is survival, gun and gear related topics. Kinda like this web site, ar15.com is one of my favorite places, members here are pretty down to earth and share the same interest. If a man like something, he doesnt have to have a reason, he just does it. Some like collecting coins and stamps etc, any how, think & say what you will, not here to argue. TG |
<rant> Trying to bring the Lightfighter spirit of cheer and good fun over to Arfcom are we? Listen up wannabe, fill out your profile completely and post an introduction and then maybe... Whoops, wrong forum. Some of the shit I bought after I first took a couple of classes and had pistol and rifle mags stickin' out of my back pockets and in my socks was straight up idiotic. And that was AFTER I took a couple of classes. I'd wager that most here don't train at all and some of their first time posts are better than mine were! The bottom line is that it's a good idea to ask posters to be as specific as possible with what they are trying to accomplish so that they'll get more helpful answers. However, there's no reason to push it any further than that with questions that clearly are more designed towards implying that non military and law enforcement posters don't really "need" this or that. The point: Buy what you want, enjoy it for whatever reason YOU want. Ask clear questions if you WANT opinions and you'll get clear answers. Try not to question the legitimacy of of anyone's needs and wants. Being benevolently inquisitive and sharing your knowledge gracefully is the way to go. </rant> |
The military Interceptors are Point Blank tho |
|
Forgot to make mention, my Conflict backpack came today, it is alot nicer than pictured. Will post a review once I have used it for awhile. Hopefully the rest of my new gear be here tomorrow. TG Just seen two Intercetpor for sell at assaultweb, med for $150, one large for $175. |
I have the original Point Blank interceptor but I replaced the cover with an SDS Coyote Brown cover. I only have kevlar inserts, I should pick up some plates.
|
I think there was some problem with the older interceptors, and one way to ID them was the inside of them was black. My old unit put out something about it, and just collected up all the IBA's with black insides and gave out new ones to those who needed them. I don't remember the exact issue, just thought this might be something you should be aware of. |
|
Thanks for the heads up dskeet, do you have a link to this issue mention? I have looked high & low and havent found anything mention. I did see where the newer Interceptor has molle straps all the way accrose chest area. I have also seen post, where Interceptor owners had additional straps sewed on. Also seen the tactical tailor buckle kit. TG |

http://img300.imageshack.us/img300/8409/a020ur7.jpg http://img288.imageshack.us/img288/921/a019sh3.jpg It`s a SDS OTV Cover with carpet inlays in the front plate place + soft inlay places and in the place for the back plate. Fits me good in airsoft good, but it is in this way not good for real advance. |
