One of our personal LWPCs rigged with the new Mayflower 5.56 quad placard.
I am really liking the placard paired with the LWPC. Just enough rig to get it done, nothing that I dont need in my current role as Citizen. This entire rig only weighs 18.6lbs with the carrier, two Medium SAPI BZ special threat plates with kevlar backers, medium side kevlar panels, 4 loaded 28rd PMAGs, 2 x tqs, surefire G2x, Israeli and combat gauze. And if we swap out the BZ plates and backers for Velocity P34 plates it is still at a manageable 20.5lb with the same setup. Still plenty of room in the pouches for a few additional items BUT... I am of the opinion that civ dudes kit up to carry wayyy more shit than they really need (mission driven equipment in the mil and LE profession notwithstanding). Just because there is a pouch or a section of PALS webbing it doesnt necessarily indicate the need to cram it full or hang another pouch off of it. A carrier with a good chest rig (MRC GEN IV, EGL VOCR, D3, placard etc) with a well thought out requirement based load beats the 40lb behemoth that is fantasy at best. But I digress....it is a pic thread! " /> Mayflower 5.56 Placard |

I already have a carrier, but I like SKD and the Brig has caught my eye. I love it! Works great for a KISS type carrier. Only thing not awesome about it is the shoulder straps are a little narrow for me (6'1"-2" and 190) with a size Medium, it kinda digs in into my shoulders just outside of my neck after several hours in it with the super heavy AR500 I have in it. If it had lighter plates in it I bet it would be a non issue. |

It was discussed in this thread. For me, I found it works better once you remove the SwiftClip buckles. The Mayflower insert is cheaper, and I would've been happy with it, but at the time I was looking it was not available anywhere. With an LBT sale, I paid around $29 before shipping for the insert, whereas now SKD sells the Mayflower insert for $28. |

Mike at App training has them also and he is a site sponsor or or seller or what ever they are called. Great stuff here is what I got
