You hear a lot of horror stories, but let me tell you about my SBR.

The Form 4, copy of my company's Articles of Incorporation and $200 check were mailed 09/17/08. They cashed the check on 09/26/08. It went pending on 10/22/08. It was approved on 12/04/08. And was received by my dealer on 12/09/08. That's 75 days, door to door.

Plus, my dealer made a boo boo. Actually a fairly big one. He sent in the Form 4 as two separate pieces of paper. The front on one page and the back on another. Both copies, as you know, are supposed to be double sided, front and back on one page. This is the first NFA item I've purchased, and I wasn't paying close enough attention. I was reading and signing what he put in front of me.

Anyway, the examiner, N. Flanigan, took a glue stick and put the front and back together. No fuss, no muss. She could have just sent it back with a nasty note to try again.

That's A+ in my book.

The suppressor should be just a couple of days behind.

For that Nobel prize winning effort, Flannigan will be promoted to supervisor and the average wait time will go up another two weeks.

But seriously, good for her and good for you.
