Hello everyone, I just attempted to do the screw upgrade and I destroyed my The Missing or Flying Spring. Do I have to call ATI or can I get that spring from a hardware store. I havent even fired the gun yet. Its brand new. Thanks.

i'd just call ATI and even if they charge you it'll only cost a couple bucks and MAYBE shipping as well. they ship usps so it'll get there within a week most likely. forget going to find a spring elsewhere. it's not worth it.

Thanks, for the quick response. I emailed Chris and Ray both on replacing that screw. Hopefully, I will be back in action before next weekend.

you mean that "SPRING", correct???

either way, yes, they take care of us. they want our repeat purchases. personally, i'm not so sure the .22 AK fits my particular taste, but i believe if i ever get the money i will try to get at least 2 more gsg-5's. one for my kids and one for their mom. we LOVE shooting mine but it sucks having to take turns on mine gsg.
