I have a polytech m-14 coming to me this week and I have a question on what kind of ammo to use in it. 7.62x51 or .308 I know they are close or maybe the same but I wanted to check first? Thanks for the help.

Find some NATO surplus ammo, all Chinese M14s are chambered for 7.62 x 51 NATO.

I had a Norinco M14S and it said .308 on it.

Yes, most of them do, but all Chinese M14s are chambered for 7.62 x 51 NATO.
